On October 24th, 2026, the Pomona Cross Country team will host the long-standing Panther Prowl! Competitors will run around Arvada on the course seen below. The money raised will help fund team apparel, uniforms, and future events! The cost is $20 if you are 14 years or older. 13 years or younger is free!

The Panther Prowl is a great chance for our awesome Arvada community to come together and enjoy the presence of one another while doing something hard! Get out of that comfort zone for a short while, then relax and hang out over breakfast with the kids, parents, teachers, and coaches that make Arvada so great! Any student from any school is welcome to join! 

The Race will START AT 8 AM on the southeast corner of Pomona’s track and finish in the grass in front of the school. Pick up your racing bib at 7 AM by the finish line in front of the school. We will try to accurately time and score this event! 

We will need a few volunteers to help direct runners on the course as well as to help prepare breakfast while the runners are running. Please email Coach Workman at bigcatdistance@gmail.com if you would like to volunteer!

We will have breakfast for runners afterwards, including eggs, bacon, pancakes, coffee, juice, fruit, and water.
